I want a smaller number plate but don't want to get pulled for it. I only want it a little bit small maybe an inch either way just so it isn't getting burnt by my exhaust anymore.

got a road legal one on ebay, cheap at chips, there are loads about that will do plates for you without the paperwork.

Going smaller thou its no longer legal.....

Rorymac71 on eBay, loads of people here use him. He never complains when I ask for odd sizes or types.

He will even do a plate that resembles a legal plate without asking for your logbook.
