My Dad has one of those things. It is an absolute death-trap. It has a double back wheel (two tyres right next to each other) and when you are on the camber of the road, it tries to kick you towards the ditch.

His only does 25 flat out but it is an absolute hoot, when you are that close to the ground and have so little directional control it is plenty fast enough.

I am looking for a PROPER monkey chassis, you see I have this 110cc bigbored cub 90 engine sat in my spare bedroom doing nothing.

THIS is what I call a monkey bike:

Ah - the beginning of April we went to The Over The Edge rally on the Isle of Wight, and the Monkey Bike rally was on, there were hundreds and hundreds of the things belting around the island - it was superb to see them. They look a whole heap of fun...I'd love to have a go!!!

We got chatting to one bloke who had spent something in the region of £16k on his monkey bike...whopping bit of cash...but it did look trick!

We were surprised at the different styles, there were several that looked like minature versions of superbikes...very very amusing to look at/watch. And the people that own them are mad and funny and interesting to chat too.
