Ouch. Wonder if it was bad cornering or target fixation. Good reminder there's not always a secound chance.

Poor bloke. Too fast and went into corner in middle of lane prob didn't realise he had to crank it over as much as poss.

I did nearly that when I was first biking, I went so wide on a bend I missed a truck by inches and squeezed through between the side of the truck and the verge. Scared me shitless. Had mucho training since then and still v v careful, always go into bends to maximise vision as much as poss also "go in slow, come out quick" echos in my mind often.

Just looked like sheer panic..

Bet he was saying, "shit shit shit shit SHIT, Arrgh!" *BANG*

I did the same thing he did on a much smaller scale where I came off a roundabout and paniced and the bike carried on going straight. Lucky I was only going about 30mph.
.......

Slightly off topic, where is the best place for advanced training with regards to cornering properly etc?

Bike safe/IAM.

However it can mostly be avoided by forcing yourself to look where you want to go. Get your head up and look well down the road.

I found IAM is good all round, not just cornering.
