Hi.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with sorting out a courier for a bike engine?

I am needing an engine to be picked up from the wakefield area and taken to my house in the south of Glasgow.

It's a honda CG125 engine. Would it be cheaper for me to take the train down and back up?

Is there a courier company that doesn't require it to be put on a pallet etc?

Thanks for any help as I haven't sorted out a courier before and I don't really know where to start. Thumbs Up

How much is pallet line or similar. That's usually the cheapest way to do engines (Although usually bigger ones than CG125 engines.).

(Assuming you can borrow a pallet and shrink wrap from work)

Unfortunately I am not sending the engine, but I am actually receiving it. Wizzzard offered me a free CG engine so I'm trying to figure out a way to get it up here to my house.

Thanks again.

Shiply looks interesting. I can probably weigh my own engine and use that for the measurements etc.
