Electric folding mirrors for motorbikes?

Guessing no one's seen these?
Since getting the GSXR I've been quite liking having mirrors (none on the ZX9 which I used for most of last year), however I do find myself often folding them in for tight filtering. Usually at a time I'd rather not take my hands off the bars - at least from a 'saving time' point of view.

It'd definitely be nice to be able to press a button to retract the mirrors.

Any clever ideas for making them?

Obvious ways are a basic electric motor. Possibly some sort of spring device, as putting them out again is less of an issue (ie free of tight traffic.)
I suspect the motors from car ones might be a bit chunky, but that's another angle.

A push/pull solenoid acting as a lock pin on a spring?

Push button and the solenoid retracts and the spring on the mirror pulls them back flat.

I reckon a set of bar end mirrors, bicycle gear shifter and a spring would see you right. A pair of non indexed ones from an old bike should see you right for a tenner or so from the junk yard, you'd just have to sort out a suitable pivot.

Visit a few scrappies and see if you can find a few broken mirrors off french cars( the high spec models usually have them even some of the older models citreon synergies, 806's deffo had them) then have a fiddle and see what you can come up with.

I have used the heated mirrors from the 740/940 series volvo cars as they have a pan and tilt adjutment via a minature joystick but they wont fold as such but great for winter use as they dont fog up when cold, I have never paid more than a tenner the pair including full electrics.
