Cool i've got a 2001 nsr in black and silver. its looks gorgeous except for the big fat square ugly indicators. (well did anyway!) i saw on this site that loads of people had changed their front ones for small darkened replacements but had not changed the rear. when i went to change mine i found that the standard flasher unit could not cope with all four of the new indicators as the bulbs were more powerful to shine through the darkened lense. This left me with two options, either just change the front indicators, or uprate the flasher unit which only cost a fiver from a local garage. Each of the indicators cost a fiver (they were just standard replacements from a small garage) although i suggest you buy new bulbs as the standards will go very soon, but at 10p a piece its not really a problem!!! it was well worth the small amount of money and the bike really looks the sh1t now. give it a go! Smile

I replaced the front and back indicators for mini ones, I changed the bulbs too so they would work with the standard flasher unit (after a bit of help from V Laughing)

And you can just about make out the mini front ones on this pic, although they have tinted lenses so don't really stand out on the black paint!

Yes official UK bike... does about 105mph till it blew up Very Happy

Set me back £1500 in a crash damaged state (light frontal) headstock etc ok, had it on a jig, frame ok, forks fine, etc etc cost me £300 in plastics and I had it on the road for £1800, all it's got is a scuff on the R/H side fairing Very Happy

Got my indicators from RAW a local bikeshop, set me back a tenner for all 4 cos I know the bloke.... RRP £16.99

Sorry peeps - I don't actually have a bike at the mo - it was my brother being a tw@t and using my account. I started with a RK - he has a 2001 Black and silver Jobbie - I'll kill him for using my account though - I must have left it logged in!!

Oh and I do agree - small indicators on the NSR do look the dogs and yes you should remove the little plate they put on to lower them as it also makes the bike look yummmmeeeeeee

IC. Thankfully mine are frame mounted so I shouldn't have much of a problem. Thinking about the oval ones for the back and fairing mounts for the front
