Congratulations to you!

I just got back from mine but failed.
2 serious faults apparently, first I put my foot down while doing the slow follow (he was walking so slow!).

Second I didn't look over my shoulder just before doing the Uturn, although I checked before I rode off. Apparently something could have come during the time I rode off and actually started Uturning Rolling Eyes I always thought the shoulder check was for blind spots, so I would have seen anything in my mirror if it had approached later.

Gutted.

a foot down is a fail and for the uturn your supose to shoulder check when you pull off and another shoulder check when you are about to perform the uturn

BTW gratz slyrob Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Well done dude, just don't let it make you overconfident Wink

Junxs, learn what the DSA want you to do and do it.
For the slow ride, I just kept the revs on, gripped the bike with my knees/legs and kept my hands and arms relaxed. Didn't have any problems Smile

Best of luck!

Congratulations slyrob.... jealous!!!

Sorry to hear Junxs, have you put back in for it?

Wish I hadn't booked mine so far in advance, way too much time to worry about it.

Nah, im gonna practice my slow ride loads and rebook for spetemberish.

I know I failed becuase i put my foot down and accept that, but i just dont understand why thats the rule? I mean on the road theres nothing wrong with putting your foot down in slow moving traffic. Theres other things there to test your control of the bike like the slalom and figure of 8 etc.

wouldnt be so bad if he walked a bit faster, but it was like he was deliberately walking slower to make me fail. If traffic was moving that slow on the road I'd stop and wait, not try to follow it at a stupidly slow pace.

Oh well all I can do is practice it,l as pointless as I believe it to be.
