My Grandfather has that toolbox! Think he got it from the RAF. Looks good, nice work!

It must be from Trans World Airlines (formerly Transcontinental and western). I bet that box held tools that worked on the Lockheed Constellations used by TWA. Howard Hughes himself might even have used it... well maybe not.

Still, looks great.

Yeah, M16/AR15 round.

Got the box from a mate who used to work at TWA in the '60's & '70's.

It wasn't too hard to slide it into the back of my Chevy.

& now it has a top.

Thats was a good find.

As for the round it looks more like 7.62mm caliber not a 5.56mm M16 round?
