every now and then life smiles on you Smile
speaking to one of my friends, it turns out that her husband is losing weight and his bike-trousers are now way to big for him (he`s lost 9st Shocked )
so she says to me "oi! fatty, you can have my old mans bike trouser, cos you is fat and they would fit you"
turns out he`s only used them two or three times at the most.

they are Tureg? anyone heard of them? anyway they were free and in good nick so i`m not to fussed if they are not fashionable as long as they do the job Smile

Did I read that right?
The previous owner lost 9stone Shocked and has given his strides to you?
Couldn't you could give a leg each to a couple of mates? Question Or make a new bike cover?
Very Happy

Cool.

I scored a nice armoured jacket the same reason, from a girlie who had lost mega-weight, and I was the only person fat enough to wear it.

When I bought my first bike.

The guy who sold it to me, gave me a set of boots, full textile RST 2 piece suit, and disc lock for FREE ! Shocked

He said he was fed up of bikes, and all the stuff was BRAND NEW - said he had got all the gear recently as a birthday present from his family members but was giving up on biking so was no use to him Exclamation

Whereas my mate gave me her old paddock jacket because she'd grown out of it (as in got too big). It is too big around the chest, but not as big as my male XS jacket.

One of these days I'll find off the peg stuff that fits me, I'll probably be 98 when it happens...but I live in hope. Laughing
