Was surfing iTunes and came across this

Anyone used it?
It's £1.19, and is supposed to have some good reach on it.

Your thoughts?

Just downloaded it for my and the other half's iPhones. Got to be worth a punt at £2.38 for a pair of intercoms. I'll report back.

Tried them while out walking and the range does appear to be in the order of 20m or so. So handy at traffic lights or whilst riding in close file. 20m is surprisingly short a distance when you measure it out though. They'll be useful as long they reconnect fast after going out of range.

Yeah, though you can probably get a cheap wired intercom that's more effective between rider and pillion. I'm more interested in bike to bike... even if it's just for the sake of communicating that I fancy stopping for a coffee or I need to fill up or something.

Not sure yet how it'll cope with wind/road noise. You use the regular iPhone headset and there's not really any controls other than standard volume up/down buttons. When I was standing a few feet from m'lady I could hear myself through my own headphones as her mic was picking me up, so I'm not sure how well it'll filter background noise... m'lady's aftermarket can has to be heard to be believed.

Still... 2 intercoms for less than the price of a pint...

You'd think it should be possible to write an app which could use the cell network as well as bluetooth to send the audio - it would add some latency though.
