There's a fairly good DVD from 2007 maybe (or around then) about the Erzberg that year. Well worth a watch - available on torrents too, if you legally own a copy etc .

Sadly I'll never be up to the level to do something like that really, but KTM do offer some training style events there spread over a few day that I've been tempted by in the past.

Done a bit more looking on it, and seems it may be part of a championship in 2011 with some other events. Including the tough one in the UK.

we (me an my dad) went across to watch in 2006. Mental race, some proper psycho's in it. Some of the best is the qualifying. R1 enduro's (honestly) Taddy Balau (can't pronounce the rest) is shit-hot.

Go even if it's just to watch absolutly mega time.

Although apparently the hardest one of the lot is the roof of africa, and when ya see it i don't doubt that lol.
