I can't work out how the brake light wire attatches to the rear brake pedal. The spring does not stretch that far.

I feel that I have either lost an important bit or I am overlooking something obvious. Embarassed

Shouldnt the brake pedal be above the metal stop and not below it ?

Ok to save my embarrasment I think I've got it now. A certian spring was found and hey presto!
