I'm 17 years old and I'm taking my CBT next week. I was just wondering what is the best looking 125cc bike I could get on a £900 budget? Thanks in advance for any replies.

That depends, what style bike do you like, sports, scrambler, cruiser, traditional. Have a look on ebay, bike trader, you may find a good deal and it also shows a range of different bikes. You may also want to look on MCN reveiws as they give a rating on the bikes but they dont sho them all.

Best looking bike for 900 quid will probably be something Chinese - a "sportsbike" copy by Lifan or someone. It won't necessarily be the best bike though.

If you want cheap and hassle-free biking get a CG or a YBR125. I think the YBR looks better.

Otherwise, save up an extra 1500 quid and buy and R125.

I have seen a CBR 125 for £950, is that a good deal? Also, what is the CBR like to insure for people of my age

The ybrs are good, i did my tests on one and it was very easy to handle. The newer ones have a bit more poke through it being injection i think. But whether you'll find an older one for under £1k i'm not sure.
Other than that, the CG's are popular and reliable as are the Gs' which i can vouch for Mine got me through a year of relitivly fun and reliable riding

Insurance for me on my 125 was £435 a year although i think that was partly because of the area i'm in. Still cheaper than for a car though
