It depends, am I allowed to sell the bike straight away if I win and buy a good one - oh and some decent tyres I've heard about? Wink

I think BCF should be quite honoured that a company like Pirelli should deign to SPAM on here. It's a nice change from Big Bill's Spare Parts, Crap Off eBay and Used Condoms.

The rules of the forum would appear to differ:

Thou Shalt Not Spam
"Non bike related adverts are not welcome here. However if you have a topical product or service you are welcome to advertise it in the Exchange & Mart section or a special interests section (Supermoto, Racing, etc). Please note, however, that this is a priviledge and posting repeatedly or trying to 'hard sell' your ad may begin to draw flak from other forum users."

I think pirelli should spend more money on finding people who can spell rather than spending it on people to spam. Spammers who can't spell for that matter.

I would read that rule as being for "adverts"; which implies something being sold. Nothing is for sale here, it's a FREE competition where you can WIN something. He is not making any money from it. Fair enough, it is a bit of a publicity stunt, but I hardly think it falls under "spam" when it's literally giving something away for nothing Confused .

Companies regularly take out 'adverts' for competitions or purely to promote their company, without a specific product being focused on.

Do like the way you couldn't even spell your own username properly.

Outsourced their advertising department to Nigeria is really cheap of them. Rolling Eyes

If you don't like their spam then let Metzeler know cos they're not going to read the replies on the numerous forums they've been spamming.
