I get a clunk when i let off the throttle, tried blipping the clutch earlier as i'd quite like to get started with wheelies and got a jolt and a clunk again.

Had chain and sprockets changed last week.

Worn cush drive? Does it make the noise only when your moving, or are you revving it when stationary?

Might be suspension related like something clipping something. Might also be the head bearings being loose.

This, could have stretched or could not have been adjusted correctly? you'd probably notice the cush drive under acceleration aswell.

it clunks slightly at a standstill, but doesn't if the clutch is pulled in. Chain tension is pukka
