I've just got back from a quick blast round the 'Seven bends'. Its just been resurfaced in nice sticky black tarmac. Oh, and watch the last turn as its tighter than it looks Very Happy

I know that road well, its about time it got resurfaced.

My DAS instructor used to take me along there, he was forever telling me to calm it down Laughing

I found it by accident when visiting family, the only thing i remember about it was ploughing through a heap of horsecrap. Twas a clenching moment..

I lived in that area for a few years...loved the roads.

OT: Good pubs & *good times.

Martin Lambert by any chance? He took me on it too, half a tree lying on my side of the road, mid bend was certainly interesting.

No, it was another bloke based at Ashchurch barracks - cant remember his name now though.

Martin Lambert did my DAS when he was based in Gloucester, and yes that's not a bad stretch of road is it?

He's in Tewkesbury now and he did mine. Top bloke; probably a little on the pricey side but worth it.

Its just off the A46 Tewkesbury. Go through Ashchurch, hang a right at the traffic lights (opposite the pub), and enjoy.

Its not a long section of road tbh, but there is a handy little layby near the end where you can turn around Thumbs Up

Its less of a quick blast but the B4077 from Tewkesbury to Stow has some epic twisty, hilly bits through a wood and a completely deserted (and seemingly unpoliced) bit of straight B road.

If you go back towards Worcester via Fish Hill its a pretty good way to spend an hour or two Wink

Hmm, will have to give that a go Thumbs Up

On another note, the guy in the video needs to work on his right handers. Clipping the white line like that is a good way to get hit by oncoming traffic.
