I'm meeting with my mate on Sunday, to go for a ride. He only passed his test a couple of weeks ago, and we're going on a trip to Gibraltar soon. Want to take him on some fairly easy, and also some tough/bendy roads. He lives in morecombe, I'm in north Wales. Can anyone suggest anywhere somewhere between that matches what I want?

Get him to come to you and take him on the A470 between Betws-y-coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Very Happy

Well be meeting at a&ds in Denbigh, then if he's up for it, betws y coed, then a trip round anglesy, and back to Denbigh. Unless you can think of anything better.

Good route, I used to live on Anglesey and they have spoilt it since the duel carriageway was built. As soon as you get over the bridge pick up the Llangefni road (B5420 - B5429) through Bodedern and then turn right on the A5025 around the outside of the Island past Wylfa back to Menai bridge. Makes me pine for the North again Laughing

Just make sure to take it steady. Your worst problem is going to be if he's pushing it to try and keep up with you, or pushing it because of the pressure of having you following him.

Just drill it into his head to ride in his comfort zone!
