A woman asks her husband, a programmer, to go shopping.

"Dear, please go to the nearby grocery store to buy some bread. Also, if they have eggs, buy 6."

The husband replied "O.K., hun".

Twenty minutes later he comes back bringing 6 loaves of bread. His wife is flabbergasted.

"Dear, why on earth did you buy 6 loaves of bread?"

He replied, "They had eggs"

I first did so when looking it up for a project, i thought "hmm i'm sure i spelled that right" Clicked it anyway and burst out laughing. Sometimes i think its only really Google & xkcd that truely understand geek humour.

I've still got a programming definitions glossary from a magazine in the early 80's that reads :-

Loop: See Recursion

then later on...

Recursion: See Loop

An engineer was telling his mate how a fit 22 year old blonde came across campus on a push bike. Stopped in front of him, took her top off and said "have whatever you want from me," so he took the bike.
