Kawasaki KDX 200 1991 model in what can only be described as superb condition having covered a mere 6k miles from new. It has also benefited from the following restoration work which has been carried out to an extremely high standard.

Frame - shot blasted and painted - correct Kawasaki green

Engine - New main bearings, crank seal shafts, KIPS valves, Piston and rings, small end and gear lever shaft

Forks - Completely rebuilt and painted

Rear shock - completely rebuilt

Swinging Arm - new spindle bushes and bearings

New chain and sprockets

New electronic speedo

The bike is also fitted with a Dep tail pipe (which has been rebuilt and re-packed) and an FMF fatty down pipe. Tyres are Metzler enduro in used but very good condition. Spares include spare wheels and sprockets.

It's 19 years old mate. It's probs spent most of it's life sitting in garages with stuff thrown on it. The previous owner has had the bike as a hobby in his garage fixing it up to green lane it, perfecting it - some people do this only to sell the bike on.

Granted speedo could have been disconnected a long time ago and it could have more miles on it, but as it's had so much work who cares, it's a canny bike Smile

I bought my 77 Z650 from a similar owner, he spent over 100 man hours during the winter tinkering and restoring the bike to a fabulous standard, receipts for £1200 of parts, only to sell it for book price last month.

My uncle does the same thing for some reason - buys old RD's - restores them himself and sells them in the summer making very little profit.

I guess it's a hobby.
