6th gear

my question is why cant i accelerate with 6th gear anymore! even 5th gear is quicker than 6th. as soon as i put 6th gear, bike.s speed starts to trop!! why so? front sprocket 13, rear 35. and i dont have any restrcitons in place!

you will find 6th gear and much good unless u downgear it. my bike uses 6th all the time now i got a 12 sporcket on the front

so u put 12 in front but what is your rear sprocket(35?). ok when i put 12 in front then bike.s acceleration will improve a lot but what about top speed. what is your top speed with 6th gear and 10000mph. right now i cant get over 9000mph with 6th gear and im too slow i think, just 140 km/h. it dosent seem to make any difference than i have arrows pipes on! well maybe because im a former motocross pro rider i cant get enough from my nsr125, it seems to be really slow and im looking for ways to make is faster!!
one more thing. have anyone tryied to put 250 motor in nsr125 frame or maybe even more powerfull motor?

It sounds like there's definatley a problem with your engine somewhere (especially if you could reasonably use 6th before)... could be many different things so I can't say for sure (and I'm not *that* great a mechanic).

I've been looking at putting a 250/500mx engine into a 125 frame.... there was a mito with a kx500 engine on ebay so it can be done

out of interest, when was it last serviced? could be a clogged filter or knackered plug.

I saw that G... I read somewhere it was good for about 130mph+.
