Also put a little bit of blue tack over the microphone like I did and it reduces the wind noise a lot.

Aaaah, the old stomping ground of my youth! Very Happy Fantastic road!

Not sure where you live, but have you ever been down the road through Rothbury? I used to do:

Newcastle A1 - A697 (to Coldstream), then B6341 to Rothbury, which keeps on going to Otterburn - it's the right at 4:51 in your 2nd vid.

I'd then (mostly) turn back down the 696 to the toon.

Sometimes I'd continue into Otterburn, and go down the B6320 in a huge loop which ends up on the old Roman Road.

Top drawer stuff.

Setting the correct time
The ones from ebay are probably type #3 if they have yellow date bottom right.

Create a file called tag.txt
Inside it put date like this


Quote:
[date]
2010/07/14
16:58:00

or

[date] 2010/07/14 16:58:00


Save it in the folder you see when cam is first connected.
Unplug it, turn off, turn on again.
tag.txt will have disappeared if it worked OK

I live just next to the A1/A69 roundabout where Raul Moat shot the guy. Have done that road a couple of times was quite a bit of gravel on when I went.

Will look at the map seems a decent route.

I brought one for £6 and I'm fairly happy with it. These are the only two vids I have on youTube. Both were compressed before uploading, the second was reduced in size. The original vid on my PC is pretty good.

I just need to get a better mount than a sticky foam pad Laughing
