Boredom struck at work again this week, so I bought myself one of those gold plating kits of Eblag - they're mint! Anyone else tried it?

As well as now having several gold plated coins and keys, I thought I'd give my watch a bit of an overhall.

Ace - never used one myself, and can imagine if i got one, i'd end up with a house full of gold plated crap, i cant imagine i'd ever need a gold plated tin opener, but why the hell not!

how much did it cost out of interest??

Was about £65, with solution for Nickel, Silver and Gold plating. They look like they're a piece of piss to make - universal ac adapter, an old bic biro, croc clip, piece of wire and some cotton buds. You can buy the gold solution for about £20 on Ebay.

my friend goes out with the guy who made the one that was on dragons den and they sell in harrods

Personally I prefered the sliver watch. Wink

Gold + leather makes it too retro for me, but it does look good none the less. Thumbs Up
