I've just purchased my first scooter which is a Yiben Zoom YB125T-22 Scooter. It has a bit of theft damage and luckily my boyfriend is pretty good with his hands!! Embarassed

I'm trying to get hold of a manual and a wiring diagram either for download or for purchase at a reasonable price.

The Chinese Scooters Service and Repair Manual (Haynes Service and Repair Manuals) has been suggested but on reading reviews it says the book is hard to find bike specific information.

Is this my only hope or is my female stupidity limiting me from finding the manual & wiring diagram!!

Any help would be very much appreciated to get this bike back to it's former glory and stop it being stripped and the remaining parts ending up on ebay.

mmmmmmmmmm..............chinese scooters what fun..........I'd go for option 2 and sell it on ebay for parts as unfortunatley if you get it fixed up it will only last about 6 months before the piston thats made from old coke cans or the frame thats made from coat hangers lets it down!............does that sound too negative?lol

You won't find a manual for most Chinese bikes as there are a hundred manufacturers that have come and gone, this one is a new one even to me! e.g this post is now the top google result for a search on that bike...

The engines are typically copies of Japanese ones and as a result the manuals will be the same. If you can determine what it is a copy of you can just get a haynes manual for that. Keep in mind that the engine doesn't have to have come from a bike that looks anything like it. anybody recognise it?

Wow such optimism u have for the bike! Bearing in mind it's a 2007 model and done 1600 miles it would be nice to get it road worthy.

the amount of Google hits have probably come from me over the past few days lol
