Thought i'd ask this here as im sure someone on BCF would know.

I currently have a keyfob camera, hong kongs finest, I use it all the time, but it run out of battery when I really wanted it to pick up footage today and thus I would like to upgrade to a better quality unit.

Generally the video/audio quality is more than ample for my needs, but I would like to get a camera unit which can either

1. Be charged from the bike
2. Be viewed at the roadside
3. Be waterproof.

Mainly #1 is the key, i must be able to charge it from the bike, I know you can get DVR units with bullet cameras, cheap ones from Hong Kong too, anyone got any experience with these, or what would you recommend? Smile

Karma to anyone who can recommend a bargain! Karma Thumbs Up

Do a search of the main forum. There have been a few threads about cams.
Ranging from the keyfob/MD80 to the expensive stuff with roadside viewing.

MD80 are a lot better than keyfob as you can power while filming via usb. Also don't seem to have the 30 min limit of files.
If you decide on a MD80 get from one of the many UK suppliers on ebay. For the extra couple of £ its worth it.
