Now I don't know if its just me but got a new lid fairly recently and got hit by a stone the other day and now have a fairly big stone chip in the top.

Was thinking is there any way of preventing these? or am I going to have to stop being stupid and live with it?

Stone chips look cool Thumbs Up .

Not much you can do to stop them although I suppose you could get one of these:

Basically a fabric skin on top of the helmet, gives it a different design and would probably stop stone chips.

You could use your girlfriends nail varnish if she has the correct colour.
