I checked when the MOT for the XT runs out and it was last Tuesday :Smile

The indicators flash quite fast as in maybe two or three times a second, would that be a fail? All indicators work, as I say it is just they flash faster than other bikes.

I am also expecting an advisory for the exhaust Wink

this might help

https://www.ukmot.com/1-5.asp#Text_top

the only thing i could find on that was a fail because they dont flash between 60 and 120 times a minute. so i guess it depends on how old the bike is and how fast the flash is

The bike is a 54 plate.

And I guess they wont exceed the 120 flashes per minute (well I hope).

Put higher wattage bulbs in?

Have you got 4x10w bulbs on a 4x21w relay? Or 4x5w bulbs on a 4x8w relay?

Take the lens off one, check what it says on the bulb, preferably take a picture of the bulb, post back.

Yup, I've just fitted an Arrow and took the baffle out and it's ridiculous. It makes me laugh as it makes so much noise when I crack the throttle open but the bike hardly moves forward as it's so slow. Still, it's stopped the suicidal pedestrians leaping out in front of me though.

One of my mates had an 85 XT600 that he decided, for some reason, to run off the downpipes with not can.....

Loud was not the word, it was like a mobile apocalypse with massive backfires when the throttle was chopped. Great fun!
