In the run up to Sonisphere, I'm feeling rather musical.

If you had the choice to be able to sing exactly like one person, who would it be, and why?

For me it would be Corey Taylor, the man is a beast, his voice is undescribable.

Links help too. Smile

Marvin Gaye in first place, followed closely by Dennis Brown.

Both of their voices are just pure sexual chocolate.

As far as white singers go, i'd like to be Captain Beefheart

I love Bob Dylan best though, because he's one of the few people i can sing better than.

Very Happy

For me? Either the obvious (if you don't know my obvious response then shame on you Wink) or Curtis Mayfield.

I agree.
Worst day of my life when he left the peppers, although i'm looking forward to the new peppers album which will be out soon, should be complety different which will be good.
Hopefully he'll release another solo album soon, his albums are incredible.
His live covers are epic.

I like your style.

However for me it'd have to be Jonny Craig, from Emarosa, Isles and Glaciers, and ex Dance Gavin Dance. Solo work ain't bad either Thumbs Up

And why? Just because I think his voice is amazing.

Whilst i'm a big cricket fan, there's only one Randy Watson, and one Sexual Chocolate:

Mistergixer definitely believes the children are the future.

Since Hetfields already been taken, I'd probably say a hybrid of Phil Anselmo from Pantera/Down, because he sounds great screaming like a bastard ('Suicide Note Pt.2'), singing with aggression ('Mouth for War'), and singing 'clean' if you like ('Stone the crows', 'Suicide Note Pt.1), mixed with M.Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, I've been listening to them quite a bit lately and I think he has quite a good voice, examples would be 'Almost easy', 'Dear God', and 'Unbound'. I'll put proper links in later as I'm on my phone at the mo.
