Restaurant review sites

Anybody recommend one which is like Yelp.com but not yelp? i.e. the kind whch has comments by real users good and bad as well as subreviews by real users?

My mum tends to use Trip Adviser for all things reviewy - she's even posted a few on there herself.

I like to use The List for reviews on restaurants, clubs, bars etc Also has a good list of up and coming events.

Not sure how relevant it is for Engurlund but it's pretty decent for Glasgow Thumbs Up

edit: If you sign up to get a "List" card you can get discounts on certain places that it reviews Thumbs Up
