Having recently sold my CBR, I have a bit of cash towards my next bike.

I'm going for a GXSR600.

Found a fair few, but this one sticks out.

Is 22K a lot of miles to put someone off a bike?

My first bike (CBR600F) had 34k miles on it when I bought it and still ran perfectly fine. The cam chain needed doing by the time I sold it though.

That only averages out at 1700 miles a year.

I would not be put off by that mileage

My bandit has more miles on the clock than the bike you posted a link too

Mileage (well, 'claimed mileage' anyhow) is probably way down on the list of things to look for on a bike. I'd sooner buy a high mileage bike in good condition than a low mileage bike owned by the mechanically inept.

Worth remembering that older bikes could be on a second odometer anyway.

(22k is nothing really)

No, wouldn't put me off in the slightest. Id consider that low mileage - don't forget the bike is 13yrs old. Id be looking for some decent service history for the first ten years of its life tho.

I'd be put off, clearly not been used that much... 1700 mile a year... You have to wonder why

No, I wouldn't be put off by the miles, but I would strongly recommend you wait until prices fall a bit and push to get a K version rather than the SRAD.

I have a SRAD, and have ridden a K2 GSXR 600, the difference is almost night and day, the refinement of the FI and bike in general was miles better.

^^^This. I was planning on changing my bike in the next few weeks but the used prices at the minute are a fecking joke. Everything seems to be a good £400-£500 overpriced. I might wait it out and buy in the winter again

Okay got everyones views on milage, thats good.

Is that bike in the link I posted worth £1300? Realistcally, I can wait till winter till I buy but I wouldn't mind paying the extra £100 to have it now.

Realistic price alteration of that bike in the winter?
