I gave up watching films on Five when I saw how much they had been censored or cut for running time.

Can't remember the film that pushed me over the edge, but it was something like Lethal Weapon and they cut pretty much all of the attempted suicide in the trailer bit, as well as all swearing and trimmed lots of the violence.

Stopped watching films on the ITV channels as well now. That was because Star Trek 2 (a flipping PG film) was shown at 1 in the morning a few weeks back, and they totally cut the scene where the slugs crawl into Checkov's (sp?), so if you hadn't seen it, the scene would make no sense whatsoever.

Ronin - good film, shite channel to watch it on.

True, but I bought it ages ago, and we don't have a PS3/blu-ray player Sad

We do have an HDTV though Confused

Still DVD > movies on tv
