OK, looking on selling my R1 this year to get a VTR1000 as I fancy a change. But have no idea on what I can get for it.

So the bike is 2008 R1 in blue/white/black with 16000 miles, it has got Micron cans with removable baffles which cost £350 when new, brand new rear Metzler Racetec, front has lots of life left. Black headlight protectors cost £30, K&N air filter added 200 miles ago, Has carbon look crash bungs, carbon look levers, integrated rear indicator & rear light cluster, mini flex front indicators and a minus one tooth front sprocket.

It had Warranty work done on it which replaced the exup valve wire and the bike has FSH.

Comes with original parts consisting of - Cans, levers & indicators.

Bad bits - has 2 small scratches on rear fairing, and a couple of small scratches on R/H lower fairing and a few stone chips on the mudguard(the bit that covers the forks). Also a couple of scuffs on the mirrors.

Any ideas?

Take the bling bits off, put it back to std and you can then sell the bits.

All them bits will not add as much as they cost to its resale value.
