Anyone got/tried/had a Duchinni D909 bluetooth helmet?

I'm looking for some real-life reviews if poss - most of what I've found on the 'net so far has been advertising blurb.

I like the style, they are a good fit on me, have a good Sharp rating and seem to be a very good price for what you get.

So I'm thinking that there has to be a catch, and it's probably that the bluetooth is crap.

I have a duchinni 909 lid I think, I got it from the hire bike company after a crash. Its not brilliant but then the RRP is like £100 and you can easily pick them up for £50 which IMO is a pretty good deal.

I had a ducheeyni lid, IIRC it was exactly the same as the bluetooth lid but without bluetooth... (if that makes sense) it was cheap enough to buy, good fit and rather comfy, but i did find the wind noise quite bad, and for some reason once into tripple digit speeds it seemed to want to try and lift off my head !!!

Did you get the lid ? I'm looking at one now (Matt Black) D909 as they seem to be £69.99 at the moment.

Anyone had one yet, and do they actually work ?

i,m on my 2nd one now , i like them . there cheap & a good fit . the bluetooth worked fine on my 1st one , i've never try'd it on the one i use now as i have stage 1 pipes on 1 bike & gp pipes on my other ...the rain gets in but that doesn't bother me .

No I never did actually get one, I ended up with an HJC FG15 and a(nother) Suomy in the end.

FWIW I have the D419 (non-bluetooth version) of this helmet, and can honestly say that for me, it's actually a better fit than my previous AGV helmet that cost 3-4 times more than the Duchinni.

I think it may be slighly noisier than the AGV, but I try to remember to wear earplugs on longer journeys, and at m-way speeds, so the slight increase in noise has never been a problem.

I'd happily get another Duchinni when the time comes Thumbs Up
