Earphone advice

Right, I want to be able to listen to the radio/music while on the go, my current earphones are the ones that came with my mp3 player and are the normal type.

When i put my helmet on they come out of my ear, there is no way to get them to stay there, so even with max volume, once your doing 70 you cannot hear fook all, and below that its very difficult, I tried them with my HJC helmet and my arai, both the same, couldnt get them to stay put.

I did have some ear canal sennheisers but i lost them on a drunken night out, which i think would have been ideal, so ill prob get another set.

Im just curious what earphones everyone wears when on the bike that stay in with your lid on?

I use some Panasonic ones I got from Argos, were about £15, can hardly hear any wind, and stay in as I pull helmet over my head

Save money on expensive headphones and electronics and just sing your favourite songs in your head .

I use Skull Candy ear phones, the type that go inside your ear. They fit good and don't fall out, because they go right inside your ear it's mega loud. Does have it's downsides though, I was in my own little world, in the wet, blasting out Pantera's suicide note part 2. Come to a bend and just forgot to do anything, slammed the brakes on, lost the front end but managed to keep it up. Never rode listening to music since because I just zone out lol.

open an ebay tab and search for "koss earphones". Then buy the cheapest one

I found the over ear ones too bulky earbuds ftw, drown out outside noise too.

The wire goes over your ear so it's harder to fall out.

I find my Sennheiser CX 300-IIs work well for blocking out other noise and fit ok inside the helmet. Can be got quite cheaply, especially if you go for 'eco packaging', but be very careful for fakes, which most really cheap ones are.

Yep I had a set of the originals which I lost in Spain; the next version is as good; definitely very good sound quality for the money.

In-ear ear phones are good but can be a bugger when putting the helmet on as you (I) need to adjust them with the helmet on.

Sure someone done a modification where they placed disc speakers each side of the helmet, probably wouldn't sound too good tho.

I use the normal headphones from Argos ect.
at first they would come out but after a while, as you put on your helmet pull the straps apart as much as you can.
I put my earphone on, neck warmer over the top (still coverin my ears) then helmet on... works.
I brought some panasonic ones £4.99 from Argos that have the small volume clip on the wire. Works ok for me and can still here 70+

As i've just written in another thread about 10 mins ago: TRY THESE
The earphones have 2x mushroom'ey bits on, so dont tend to fall out of my ears like all the others do, decent sound quality, very good at reducing noise, and for £8 + P&P definately worth trying them!!!
