Yeah, was first broadcast about a month ago maybe? It's fantastic. It gives you a real insight in to what your brain is doing every time you step in to a car or on to a bike.

I pretty much stopped playing video games about the time I got a motorbike. I had been addicted and obsessed my whole life, and then the bike took over. It's like, my mind just loves hours and hours of concentration. It's like your mind is a muscle you have to exercise and then it gets insanely good at what you do.

The couple of times I've done karting and mini-moto it has given me the biggest rush I've found so far in my life, not because of the speed but because of the fun of the competition and using my mind in that way. I love all things that require co-ordination like that.

I really, really admire racing drivers / riders. I don't know if I'd make a great one, like the best, but I think I'd be the happiest person in the world if I got to do it a lot.

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

To be honest with you, I'm not sure what I rode. My experience so far is the minimoto BCF did in November 2009 and once in a car park Laughing It looked pretty "standard"? I should ask G, and remind him to organise another karting / minimoto meet!

Saw it when it was first shown. It's a great watch and really interesting. One of the better things Hammond has done recently.
