And by possible I suppose I mean functional and practical. Would you ride something like this?

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

Everything is possible, sometimes we just don't know how.

Nothing that hasn't been tried before, centre hub steering controlled by levers is so 1980's, the rest just looks meh, nothing new.

I wouldn't ride that one, I would prefer a shorter design with a more prone position, something more like a Vyrus 987 c4.

You'd probably have to upgrade your disk lock.

No, there's nowhere for my topbox and the first bit of rain would have the front wheel spraying me with roadcrap.

Some of these wacky looking bikes do come up with engineering ideas that eventually appear on mainstream bikes.

The harpoon things would be a strong contender

Presume it works from hub centre gearing.

Issue would be the massive tyres and wheel base will make it terrible handling I suspect.

If I was forced to ride something tarty but impractical, I'd take that over most of the samey "we're induhvidual" customs I see.

Yeah thats the bat bike. Apparently it was surprisingly maneuverable, however they only ever found 1 stunt rider who could actually ride the thing, so i'd say it's far too hard for the likes of us!

I don't know how THIS steers Confused plus I can't see it's brake calipers and that chain looks incredibly inefficient.

That other steering mechanism is crazy, although I'm curious as to how steering by a motorcycles rear wheel would affect how it would be ridden. It would change everything I suppose.

The first picture looks like a good basis for a 2 wheel drive shafty assuming a universal joint would allow enough movement for steering suspending and also powering the bike?

Is it possible to run to shafts at 180 degrees to each other from an engine?

Confused
are you talking about the hub center steered system posted by "The Shaggy D.A."? that's the front wheel.

Yes. I see my mistake now. I thought it was turning the rear wheel and not the front.
