Managed to take a footpeg to the leg a min ago Crying or Very sad

I was testing chain tension on the WR, lost balance and bike toppled over the top, me going with it and landing on the peg.

I carried on with what I was doing, finished up and came inside ... at that point I realised I had a stream of blood down my leg ... on a quick tidy-up, it revealed the attached ...

To be honest, I don't really want to go down A&E on a Friday evening ... but also I wanted to go riding tomorrow and I don't want my leg to fall off ...

So in all seriousness, does it look like it needs stitches or just stick a bandage over it??? I can see all sorts of insides coming out!! Shocked

lol, you'll survive without them.

It'll heal into a big lump though.

Boss cut himself right to the bone, through the muscle, with a grinder, took 30 stitches. Rolling Eyes

To be honust it probablys does need stitchs, not many though. Friday night in A&E is going to be packed aswell. So either go in and wait in a queue with a bunch of pissheads or do it self with some fishing wire and a sewing needle.

If you to to A&E then they I wouldn't expect them to put stitches in that. They'd close it using steri-strips and tell you to go home. If it bleed lots then with any luck the cut should be clean, but if you haven't already then give it a good clean with some first aid cleaning stuff (savlon or suchlike).

You don't need to go to a&e, you can close it just as well at home using steri strips or I'm sure strips of gaffa tape would work equally work.

As a general rule: If you have to ask "does it need to be stitched up?" It almost certainly does.

At very least get it cleaned up and bandaged properly.

You have gone to A&E with that scratch? Man up and go home, grab a pint and kebab on the way.

if I couldn't see innerds popping out, then I wouldn't have even considered it. ...

to be honest I don't even have a medical kit at home to fix stuff (tend to use kitchen towel and duck tape for most stuff, so never bothered getting one) ...

I'd deffo need a proper bandage to cover this one up. ... and it is cheaper to go to a&e than buy a bandage and sterilizer from the nearest supermarket! Very Happy

I must admit, these days I wouldn't bother going to A&E unless I was pretty fuckin' crook. I wouldn't sit in there with all those plebs either.

I'd rather die in the comfort of me own home.
