I am not quite sure about what he gave me ... I asked for a 130/90-18 rear and a 90/90-21 front ... for the WR

He gave me 110/100 rear and 80/100 front ... what you got on yours??

Will it make much odds, the front in particular??? Confused

EDIT:

Looks like the dude in the shop had it right - the tyres on the bike are wrong!! Confused ... does mean the bike will now be more awesome than ever!! Cool

Thats a turn up for the books then!
It should handle even better now then - cue even more insane riding vids Laughing

I've got 90/90/21 and 130/80/17 on mine, but then its a 'dual purpose' rather than an out and out 'offroader'.

I went for TKC80's in the end as a compromise, the majority of my riding is on the road, but i do like to hit the lanes as often as i can .
Thumbs Up

Silky, you don't have to take the spokes off to change a tyre. You do know you've forgotten to put them back, don't you?

You ARE a big boy changing push-bike tyres all by yourself ... Very Happy

To be honest, with your 100 fags/day habit, what do you actually do on your pushbike??? .... must all be 'downhill'!?!? Very Happy

Actually it was quite fiddly ... these new fangled tyres come flat (as opposed to the shape they should be = round) and dont even fit to the rim until you have half inflated the inner tube.

I am not sure which part of that paragraph I believe least!! Very Happy

If you have truly given up the fags I might even want to come riding with you again!! Cool

If you got skillz then you can fit & remove push bike tyres with your thumbs rather than using tyre levers. Smile

That was my point ... the tyres (Maxxis Minion DHf) are bigger than the rim, by about half an inch all round.
You dont even have to squeeze or pull the tyre at all Eh?
