Cann'e be arsed with big/sports bikes anymore.
I'm missing the Teezer to be honest. Sad

I'm after a Supermoto, Something 4 stroke, something road legal, Something Blue (ideally), and something with a bit of poke.

Dont want an old shitter, Want something fairly new. DRZ400, WR400, Something along them lines?

Can get up to around £1750 - £2000 spending money. Would I get something reasonable for that?

Cheers

Ben

how about my 520 exc when its rebuilt? its an 02 though, so pretty old (52 plate).
ill probably never use it as much as id like, and the money would be useful.
about 9 months MOT but no tax. i dont want as much as 1750 though, so you could probably use the price difference to get some SM wheels.

I wouldn't get a DRZ. They are fun enough, but when you ride anything bigger (read +power -weight) they seem very slow very quick. That said, I crashed mine many many times and it always started straight away and a set of acerbis panels is around 70 quid.

Maybe an 03-05 wr400, or I've seen CRF's or their equivelent kawa model go for around that.

Being that you are pretty handy with tools and modding as well as wheels, it would probably be easier for you to get a newer off road 4 stroke, and reg it yourself? The road registering and bits add a lot to the value.

my ideal choice if price wasn't an issue would be the Yamaha WR450F 07+ so u get the Ali frame (nice motor, and reliability is there)

or a Streettarded YZ450F, ideal '05+, the yz450f would be a sick SM imo.

why rush into a buy with £2000? save up and get a sick ride bro, you won't regret it.

as pyro said, nothing beats the DRZ400 for crashability - its one solid mofo.
its possible to get the power out of it with the 3x3 airbox mod, jd jet kit, full yosh exhaust and if budjet allows some yoshi intake and exhaust cams.

ccm404 can be had for cheaper. It also has the drz australian E engine, WP suspension and brembo brakes. ccmriders.co.uk is a good place to look.
