I have Rieju RS2 50, now the throttle cable snapped Evil or Very Mad i cannot find cable for it any ideas. I want to get back on the road ASAP

buy a new one from the dealer or online - bodging it is just asking for trouble. Esp. on a 2 stroker

Im only 16, and i work in a call center ( it is soo shite ) and i carnt afford £40 for a cable, I was riding it and the the cable snapped it has worn the the metal arm thing that holds it and snapped the ball at the end of it.

Should i fix it up or sell it??

Razz It is running, the engine is sweet as a nut, when it broke down i had to ride back home with a pair of pliers looking a right dick Smile

Fitting a throttle cable is seriously like a five minute job. Very easy as long as no bolts are seized (which is unlikely on a newish bike).

Got access to any tools? Its unlikely you will need more that screwdrivers, pliers and maybe a few spanners.
