Everything i have ever ordered from them is always out of stock and i have to wait a week for them to get into the warehouse. what the fuk is up with that, do they not have a warehouse. Some of you may remember the hassle i had trying to get a sports rack from them a couple of months ago.

It is because warehouses and stock kept in backrooms costs money, therefore the modern day equivilent is just in time methodology of stock management or drop shipping.

Much like supermarkets have barely any stock other than what is on the shelves (the lorries are the rolling warehouses) it saves them considerable money because biz rates and rent on huge warehouses cost insane amounts of money.

I hate using them but their the only people who sell the gloves i can find.

I phoned them up once because of this and the essence of their reply was:

"no we don't have much in stock we order it when you order it ,

if we told you it wasn't in stock you wouldn't have bought it off us,

yes Wemoto do list if it's in stock or not but we don't carry much stock and it would look bad if we showed this on the website"

What exasperated me was they would take days to tell me things were out of stock then send me the E-mail at just past 5 on a Friday night so I couldn't go elsewhere.

I did wonder why it took 10 days to fill an order I placed with them. I didnt get an email saying what I had ordered was out of stock and it would have been nice for them to send an email when they had dispatched my order.

Still, I do like the fact that they are a lot cheaper than other companies and I can factor in week long (or longer) when ordering in the future.

i had to wait 4 months for a brake lever from them, and received a £5 gift voucher when i complained to them that didnt even work on their site as a valid discount code.

Aren't M&P just Busters by another name?

The bike bits I've ordered from the Busters site have always
arrived 4 working days from placing the order.

Same with the Busters eBay shop - which has free delivery.

Never had a problem with either.

Now most people when having problems with a retailer in the past never use them again.......

Why not email them 1st asking if the yhave stock... No reply or a no answer means you go else where...

I ordered a £30 headlight from M&P, they messed up & sent me the £85 version. Looks pretty good.

Apart from that i've only ordered a few bits but they've been OK so far.

Wemoto is fantastic is for parts, although mostly just OEM stuff it seems.
