Take it up to the redline in each gear, your power will be up at the top of the scale.

my advice is to rip the restrictors out Smile
not exactly a hard job to do, and makes the bike 10 times better Smile

(or just buy a firestorm Wink Laughing )

I'm not sure about resticted bikes... but on my zx6 I find the fastest way to accelerate is to hold the clutch half way in untill you're pretty much in the powerband.... also usually it's best to change up around 1000rpm before the redline as the power starts to trail off near it.
This can get the maximum power down without lifting the front, with a bit of practice.

Only use this regularly if you *really* don't mind regularly getting new clutchs!

There's no way they can check at the side of the road... they can give you a date to take it to a test centre for a run on the dyno... which gives you time to put the restrictor's back in, like Zim said, it ain't rocket science to put 'em back in.

If you kill someone you're normally fucked neway, and if speed was not an issue they shouldn't have any reason to check for restrictors, do bear in mind that a restricted bike will still do 110mph+, so it isn't as if you can't lose your licence on a restricted bike.

Just because you weren't speeding when u crashed, it doesn't automatically mean your bike won't be examined for restrictors, you're a youth on a sports bike and it will most likely be checked.

Redlining the bike in every gear is most certainly not the best way to get top acceleration as the most power isn't at the redline, it's also the best way to prematurely knacker your bike.

Take the restrictors out if you wish, you should think about why your taking them out though, if it's so you can go faster then you obviously speed a lot and have a greater chance of being caught. Be sensible.
