Photochromatic Pinlock Insert

A what? I hear you say. Had an email from race visors advertising these. For those that don't know what it is, it's a pinlock that basically goes lighter and darker depending on the light conditions.

Has anybody tried them? I need a new dark and clear visor as they are a bit scratched now so thought I might get one of these and a clear visor to save carrying a spare visor.

I can't be arsed with that. Just hope it doesn't get too dark.

I had a Fog-City Hyperoptiks which was great but the new Pinlock ProtecTINT looks very good but is very expensive at £55 (more than a genuine visor).

It goes to a dark smoke rather than a deep blue like others do, they don't do them for AGV yet though so I won't be parting with my hard earned just yet.

Been using one for a few months now and find it great goes quite dark in the sun, plus it saves carrying dark ones with you
