Anyone know if theres a working valid jailbreak for os4 on3gs?
After cydia fucked up and blackra1n no longer worked on my 3gs it sent it into recovery mode and forced a restore/update to 4.0
Pissed off i lost everything with no recent backup Crying or Very sad , iphone pales without a jailbreak Sad

i dont think there is for 3gs yet..

i done it on my 3g though and enabled multitasking (and wallpapers but that made it run like sheeeeet).

Oh well no reason not to buy a 4g as there will be no hassle messing around with transferring and backups Rolling Eyes

I tried the method by Ih8sn0w and jailbroke my 3gs MC model on OS4... only problem is you need 3.1.2 shsh blobs to reinstall 3.1.2 and its not tethered.

I'm back on 3.1.3 spirit jailbroken, its alot more stable than the Ih8sn0w method.

The maker of the spirit jailbreak is working on an os4 and 4.0.1 jailbreak although dont have any idea when its coming to market.

I jailbroke mine with Redsnow on 4.0.1. If a 'genuine' release isn't out yet what's the actual difference between the ones that people are using now & the one that will be released?

Had no problems apart from one, sometimes when i press the sleep button the screen flashes for a split second, doesn't do it when it's not jailbroken, apart from that it's fine.

Weird way of Jailbreaking, any guides? I'm used to the simple point & click methods..

The 3G can be done with other methods. You only need your blobs saved if you need to restore or downgrade.

3G, yes.

[Edit] The page Joe posted has now changed, before it was folders which was confusing me, much simpler interface now.
