Oh, that's a thing of beauty Laughing
Love the little details like the brake lever mounted directly on the rear axle, and the combi exhaust pipe/mudguard.

Only half throttle up to 80mph to avoid going arse over tit?

The engine (Minarelli/Morini) would sell for between £10 and £50 (though can make £150 if broken into parts).

I also have an old itajet in my shed.. I remember riding it when i was 5 (1994) and it was apparently 20 ish years old then. My dad brought it in a box of bits and built it up. Its in a pretty sorry state now though, but still runs.

Been researching into them recently and came up with the following models:

Italjet JC5A
Italjet JC5B / JC5C / JC5D (although ebay gets more hits with jc50)
Indian MM5A (mini mini)

Heres some pics i found...

How do i find out what year it is etc? apparently it was originally white with a red and white stripe with blue type decal with a circle of little gold stars on the blue.

Don't know whether this helps identify it.

cheers

EDIT: after a bit of research turns out mine was the M5D Cool
