Aprilia Rs125

Hi im looking for some help.

I have an aprilia rs125 which was in perfect running order when I parked it up

I finally gained access to the bike after an 8month argument with my physco ex.

The bike it turning over and not seezed
The battery is new
Bump starting is not working
Kill switch is on
Side stand kill switch has been disconnected

Would appriciate any help

Do you get a spark? Have you used fresh fuel?

Try cleaning the carb , after 8 months jets will probably be varnished up .

As Kickstart said, check for a spark, perhaps replace the plugs after trying new fuel.

Probably oil build up on the plug. The petrol evaporates but the oil doens't, so you end up with oil all over the plug which kills your spark. clean it and try to burn as much oil off as possible over the stove (remember to wrap the plug up coz you need to get it HOT) OR you could just replace it all together. also put fresh fuel in the tank and a bit carb cleaner goes down nicely.

the bike wont start at all until you connect the side stand switch.. even if its taken off it wont start as the circuits not complete.. this happened on my fzr400
