PostPosted: 10:28 - 03 Aug 2010    Post subject: Mod 1 Passed Reply with quote

So passed my mod 1 this morning and feeling really god about it, got 1 minor for not doing a lifesaver on the slow control.

Went through the speed traps at 58 on the swerve test and 56 on the emergency stop, which is good considering I'm a fairly large fella on a YBR125.

So as soon as I got home I went on the DSA website to book my mod 2, expecting it to be late September as I had checked a couple of days before but luckily found one for tomorrow and booked it Very Happy

Is there anything I need to know for my mod 2? I'm going to try and book an hour or so lesson for tomorrow before my test, but is there anything BCF recommends to get me through?

Cheers in advance Thumbs Up Wink

Firstly congratulations

Secondly, i thought you had to wait 3 days betweens the two tests? or is it 3 days between re-takes?

I sat my tests within 3 hours of each other.

If you fail Mod 2 it's a 10 day wait, unsure about Mod 1.

Best of luck!

Thanks all Thumbs Up

Its the same place so shouldn't have that problem, although I underestimated the journey this morning and almost got there late Embarassed

And you can book both tests on the same day so it should be fine

And have managed to get a 1 hour lesson a couple of hours before my test so should be all up for it Very Happy

Cant wait now... especially to get more POWER!! Twisted Evil

Well the bikes only going to be VFR 400 hopefully, so its not exactly powerful. Plus it will be restricted but that's at twice the power I'm used to now

And of course I'll take it easy, for the first day Wink

So I failed my Mod 2 because I'm a stupid cunt

Came up to a parked van and had a look around it saw a car pulling out of the junction just in front of the van but still went around it and made the car stop

And also got marked down on my steering to the left, apparently I exit really wide as I come out, I've never noticed it but guess I will have to sort that out

Really pissed off, probably be ages till I get another test
