Waterproofing Spray??

After getting caught in the rain this morning, my right arm doesn’t appear to be as dry as the rest of me….

Has anybody tried THIS waterproofing spray?? Or know of any other’s that are cheap and seem to work ok on textiles??

I've never used it but its not that cheap since its quiet a small bottle. I always stuck with Nikwax, it works and lasts ages.

Nikwax TX spray on direct is about £6-£7 for 300ml. Try camping shops. They do a smaller one for about £3.

Waterproofing spray can cause acute lung injury. No idea how, but it came from a respiratory registrar at work.

Okay...a while back I asked people's opinions on waterproofing spray, specifically the stuff you use on shoes which everyone seems to have a stack of in the cupboard under the sink...

Anyway, many people were singing on about the expensive stuff, the stuff designed specifically for waterproofing motorbike kit, so I went off and did a bit of investigating.

I found out that the ingredients were pretty much the same, so I coated my textiles in the suede shoe protector stuff, which worked out about £15 cheaper than the motorbike kit stuff....and guess what...it works!!!!!

Can't speak for the one you've linked, but as a preference I use Granger's Fabsil approx £10/L and use a £1 plant spray bottle from the garden centre to apply it.
