Beyond the obvious:

"its a 125 get a proper bike"

From what little Ive read they seem to be reasonably built?

Can anyone offer guide prices?

Cheers

Some googling tells me its German, never heard of the manufacturer but im new to all this biking stuff. Looks nice and according to the reviews I have read they can apparently do 70. You thinking of getting one new or second hand and whats your budget like? Beyond that I have no idea what they are like. Go have a sit on or a test ride.

Lots of people on here will tell you to get a CG as they are reliable and fuel efficient and so on. However I love my supermoto and am not so keen on the CG's because I had a rubbish one on my CBT.

Done an hours taster session, want to get my CBT done and get a bike so looking into bike and kit. The bikes only a toy so I dont need/ want a sensible commuter, its a road bike only and I dont want to be fixing it every weekend.

Not being up for a project prevents building my own supermoto (although Id love a late kick start DT125)

not wanting to have it in bits means 2 stroke is less attractive even if it is more powerful

I just want something a bit different and it seems to be this or sportsbike reps that sound like hedgetrimmers...

I found the MZ cos ebay threw one up amongst the Chinese junk! I'd be buying secondhand.

seems better equipped than the MZ, but its pushing itself into WR125X prices.

Theres also a non pro model, and its now known as the SM125.

Worth doing a little reading - click here

An old East German motorbike maker that went bust a few years ago.
Since resurrected with 'made in China' bikes.

However, will not affect the old 125 SM. That was a proper bike.
Need to be careful of parts etc. though as I'm not sure many 3rd party ones available or any other makes fit. Still, if the worst happens nice rat bike in the making Very Happy
