Cases and car chargers etc, etc. What have you got? Where did you buy them from? Are they any good?

I was just using a Krusell leather pouch but got annoyed with having to take it out everytime i wanted to use the phone so don't use anything now.

I had an InvisibleShield from Zagg on my Legend, while it did it's job very well, it felt awful (almost rubbery) and it wasn't invisible at all. Had an awful glare when using it in the sun/bright light and it was easily visible. Not to mention bits of shit from work getting under the edges (not a problem i suppose if you work in a clean environment).

I'm looking for a decent car dock + charger but haven't found one yet, don't want a crappy universal one either. If you find one, let me know

I only usually buy these sort of cases. Gives better grip and a bit of protection if you drop it. For £2.99 I can't complain.

I bought one of the cellapod silicone cases for the ex's phone (albeit not a desire and it was from ebay but the same company) and i couldn't fault it.

It wasn't to chunky like some but it did the job fine (and did protect it when she dropped it on more than 1 occasion) and if you're a girl or a nonce, you can get them in funky colours.

I might end up just getting a silicone case for mine, i just prefer the look of the leather ones, especially if it's a decent case and doesn't look to tacky. Only issue is (and this is with any case regardless of the type), you will have to remove it to put it in any kind of dock/charger/car kit etc.

Came in about a week. That is all I have for my desire. I will get a screen protector at some point though.

2 friends have desires, one uses and iPod Sock, the other uses nothing. Both have screen scratches though, one from sand, the other unknown.

I haven't used anything on mine for a while and the only blemish is a small mark from where I dropped it at work and I work in a really dirty workshop. I was led to believe the screen was scratch resistant.

That's not exactly a good comparison is it.

Obviously if you get a sharp object it is going to scratch the screen, but general handling of the phone in and out of your pocket etc shouldn't really scratch it.

I'm quite impressed with it for £7, its not the prettiest of things but it works.

Good:
The charger works well no problems with that.
It sticks well to the windscreen with no chance of it coming off
the phone is secure and wont fall out
Its easy enough to get in the right position and wont move once its there.
It will also fit my sat nav and other phones well

Bad:
It doesnt look that good and is a little bulky
The bracket is long so bounces around as your driving but i solved that my resting the bottom on the dash.

I might give one ago if my phone will fit in a chunky case. Although the holder looks like it's a universal job so I'd guess it would be OK.

After buying a new case for my Desire. I originally bought a cheap £2 case off Ebay which had a pretty shoddy build quality and though I need to replace it sooner rather than later.

I found this case:

which is the type I want, something thin, but sturdy and doesn't take away anything from the look of the phone.

I got bored of the ugly thick silicone case although it prevented any damamge to the phone. There isn't a mark on the phone.

Screen protector is just a cheapo one off a market. Does the job.

The case I have now is a solid black one. Only £3 off ebay but looks 100% better than the white silicon one. I am probably going to get a case-mate one next as they look sexual.

It looks sexy, plus at £10 it's a bargain and should hopefully do the job better than my cheapy-ebay jobby.

I really liked the look of the otterbox case, but looking at various pre-order sites, prices are between £25-35.. A little OTT for a phone case (even though the phone is worth around 10x the price of the case) It looks awesome.

Will put up pics etc of the case when it turns up, no doubt it will look slightly different than on the play.com page.
