I get this message on initial startup, stops the boot and does nothing more, if you reset the computer after this it boots normally most of the time (other times it will give you options to play with the bios or boot in safe mode), but the bios date and time are all screwed up and it wont remember it if you set them correctly, also only certain date ranges are available.
Using the computer, now the date and time are messed up and need resetting in windows every time you turn on, there is also an issue with most websites, IE complains about security certificates.
Mobo is an Asus A8N32 Sli Deluxe. Searching for Chassis Intruded System Halted, leads to lots of Asus issues, but not a lot of it makes any sense to me, as its quite geeky speak.
This is a fairly recent thing, and I haven't done anything differently, apart from often turning the computer off at the wall, as it hangs on shutdown, which is a common XP problem rather than a hardware problem as far as i'm aware. I'm vaguely wondering if I might have fucked something always turning it off at the wall. Or whether motherboards need some residual supply from the wall when not in use over a while.
Any thoughts? ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

I take it that if I open it up I would see the CR2032 easily?
I built this PC myself in 2006 and cant remember ever seeing the small battery. Though I wouldn't have been looking for one at the time.
